Desert House Call Physicians(DHCP) is an "old fashioned" family practice that has elected not to accept any insurance plans so that health insurance companies will have a limited role on how Dr. Kadile can practice medicine. By doing this, Dr. Kadile can spend time with you, the patient, and not be rushed. You will be paying for quality time and convenience without the hassles of co-pays, deductibles, or wondering if a DHCP service is covered or not.
Desert House Call Physicians still advocates patients carry health insurance for lab work, radiology studies, specialty consultations and hospitalizations. Depending on a patient's particular insurance plan, a patient may still be able to obtain reimbursement for a visit if they submit the claim directly to their health insurance. We would be happy to provide you with the proper diagnosis codes and information on the proper forms to facilitate this process.
Dr. Kadile has "opted out" of Medicare, so Medicare patients will be unable to seek reimbursement from Medicare for any visit. Medicare patients will have to sign a private contract with Dr. Kadile for his services. Although Dr. Kadile's services would not be reimbursable, any and all regularly covered benefits under Medicare(labs, x-rays, etc...) are still covered and could be ordered by Dr. Kadile.
